Leading the future for the next generation of women in STEM

At BioMar, we believe that equality is crucial to change the world. That is why we are proud to announce our participation in the Lead the Future campaign, led by Above & Beyond. This initiative aims to close the gender gap in STEM by empowering young women to pursue careers and leadership roles in these fields. Three of our inspiring female leaders will be role models in the campaign, sharing their stories and experiences with young students across Denmark. By speaking at schools and universities, they will highlight the opportunities for women in STEM, encouraging the next generation to dream big and lead the future.

Women make up just one-third of STEM graduates in the EU, a gap that limits progress for everyone. Lead the Future aims to change that by connecting young women with female leaders who’ve succeeded in STEM, inspiring them to start their own journeys.

Our role models will share stories of resilience, innovation, and perseverance, showing that while success comes with challenges, passion and support turn those challenges into opportunities. It's about showing young women they belong STEM, and leadership.

The campaign's panels and events will allow role models to engage with students, answer questions, and share advice to spark ambition and confidence in STEM. As living proof of what's possible, they will inspire the next generation to pursue their dreams.

At BioMar, we believe diversity drives innovation and that empowering women is key to an equitable future. Our involvement in the Lead the Future campaign reflects our commitment to gender equality and to creating a world where every voice is heard and every talent is valued.

We're joining a movement with leading companies across industries, united to inspire and support the next generation of female talent. Together, we can break down the barriers holding women back in STEM. Together, we can Lead the Future.
