At Biomar we know that the early stage of the life cycle of fish and shrimp is critical to the success of all stages of aquaculture.
A global event
This year 2024, as in past editions we will be gold sponsors at LARVI 2024, the 8th Fish and Shellfish Larviculture Symposium to be held in the city of Oostende, Belgium in September 2024, organized by the Aquaculture R&D Consortium of Ghent University, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and SINTEF Ocean.
The academic and private sectors will be present, bringing together key players worldwide. The latest advances in larviculture research will be reviewed, issues and trends will be identified, new techniques will be discussed and avenues for future collaboration between industry players will be explored.
At BioMar we are convinced that the generation of knowledge at different levels is key to the industry´s success. We support and conduct research in these fields to generate an expanded view of the biological processes of fish and shrimp during these early life stages.
Aquaculture, a sector of adaptation and environmental responsibility.
Aquaculture has proven its adaptability and is recognized for its environmental responsibility, reduced ecological footprint, and high efficiency in protein production.
As our knowledge grows, so does our ability to offer environmentally friendly solutions throughout the aquaculture value chain.
Together we can contribute to generating valuable knowledge that will make our industry more efficient and friendlier to our environment.
