In BioMar, we are excited to celebrate the successful conclusion of our recent Graduate Programme, marked by the final presentations where graduates showcased the development, projects, and ideas they developed over the past year. These presentations highlighted the impressive growth, innovation, and collaboration of our graduates, who have truly made a difference and contributed to improving our business performance.
A special congratulations to the recipients of the Graduate Award: James Long and Matias Olave, process engineers from BioMar UK, who developed an outstanding data-driven tool designed to help optimize production conditions. The tool not only helps BioMar take a leap towards even more efficient operations but also plays an important role in driving Manufacturing Excellence.
The journey of our graduates began one year ago, when BioMar selected eager and ambitious young talents from across the globe. Over the past 12 months, the graduates have immersed themselves in a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience that not only equipped them with the skills, knowledge, and practical insights needed for success, but also exposed them to different areas and cultures of the business. By collaborating with peers from around the world, they gained a broader perspective and deeper understanding of our global business landscape.
From the very beginning, the programme focused on delivering a blend of real-world experiences and structured learning, allowing the graduates to develop both practical skills and critical thinking. Among other key elements, the graduates were supported by a personal development plan, participated in learning sessions led by global experts and executives, were paired with a senior-level mentor, and undertook a business-relevant project specifically designed to accelerate their learning and growth.
Although the journey was theirs to undertake, the graduates were not alone throughout the programme. The programme’s success was made possible thanks to the support of a wide range of people who played a key role in the growth and development of the graduates. From mentors offering personal and professional guidance, to managers providing daily support, and the programme office ensuring participant guidance.
The graduates’ final presentations were attended by a broad audience, including executive management, global directors, mentors, and other stakeholders who came together to get inspired by the graduates and challenge their business projects.
All graduates will continue working in BioMar after the programme is completed and we are excited to see where their careers take them.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in this journey. Together, we are shaping the future of BioMar!
The graduate programme will start up again in September 2025 with new graduates from around the world.
